HINT:
  1. Centering bolts are used to mount the door hinge onto the vehicle body and door. The door cannot be adjusted with the centering bolts on. Substitute standard bolts (with washers) for the centering bolts when making adjustments.
  2. For bolts without torque specifications, check the standard bolt chart (Click here).


1. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR


  1. Check that the clearance measurements are within the standard ranges.

2. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

  1. Disengage the 8 claws and 2 clips and remove the rear floor finish plate.



3. ADJUST LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR

  1. Adjust the door position.

    1. Horizontally and vertically adjust the door by loosening the door side hinge bolts.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m{ 71 kgf*cm , 62 in.*lbf }

  1. Adjust the striker position.

    1. Adjust the striker position by slightly loosening the striker mounting bolts and hitting the striker with a plastic hammer.

    2. Tighten the striker mounting bolts after the adjustment.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m{ 56 kgf*cm , 49 in.*lbf }


4. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

  1. Engage the 8 claws and 2 clips and install the rear floor finish plate.
