(c) Turn the speed selector switch to medium-low.
(d) Turn the speed selector switch to medium.
(e) Turn the speed selector switch to medium-high.
(f) Turn the speed selector switch to high.
(g) Turn the speed selector switch to low.
12. VSC OFF SWITCH CHECK
(a) Press the VSC OFF switch.
(b) Check that the AUTO LSD indicator light and VSC OFF indicator light come on.
(c) Press the VSC OFF switch again to turn the AUTO LSD indicator light and VSC OFF indicator light off.
13. END OF VSC SENSOR CHECK
(a) If the sensor check is completed, the slip indicator light blinks (Test Mode).
f the sensor check is not completed, the slip indicator light blinks even while the vehicle is driving and the
VSC and traction control function do not operate.
14. READ DTC OF VSC SENSOR (for Using Techstream)
(a) Read the DTC(s) by following the Techstream screen.
Refer to Techstream operator's manual for further details.
15. READ DTC OF VSC SENSOR (for Using SST Check Wire)
(a) Using SST, connect terminals TC and CG of the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Read the number of blinks of the slip indicator light.
hen the system is operating correctly, each light will blink continuously in a pattern of 0.25 seconds on,
then 0.25 seconds off.
When one DTC is output, each light will output the same code at 4 second intervals. (For example, Code 21
would be output as 2 flashes, a 1.5 second pause, and then 1 flash)
When 2 or more DTCs are output, each light will output a different code at 2.5 second intervals, and when
all codes have been output, there will be a 4 second pause and the sequence will repeat.
When multiple codes are set, they are output in order starting with the lowest DTC number.
(d) After the check, disconnect the SST from terminals TC and CG of the DLC3.
(e) Turn the ignition switch to off.
