DESCRIPTION
The ECM determines the amount of charge in the battery according to the voltage of the BATT terminal while the engine is running (not cranking).DTC Detection Drive Pattern | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
Wait 70 seconds after starting the engine | After 60 seconds or more elapse after the engine is started and while the engine is running, the battery voltage drops below 11.85 V for 9.6 seconds or more. (1 trip detection logic) |

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM |
Check the charging system (Click here).

2.CHECK ECM POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT |
Check the ECM power source circuit (Click here).

3.REPAIR OR REPLACE CHARGING SYSTEM |
Repair or replace charging system.

4.CONFIRM WHETHER MALFUNCTION HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY REPAIRED |
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Clear the DTCs (Click here).
Start the engine.
Wait for 70 seconds or more.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / DTC.
Confirm that the DTC is not output again.
