8. Measure the distance from the pump gasket
surface, to the top of the intermediate/overdrive
housing, as shown in Figures 179 and 180.
Note: Record this as Dimension "M1".
9. Measure the distance from the pump gasket
surface, to the bottom of the snap ring groove
in the case, as shown in Figures 179 and 180.
Note: Record this as Dimension "M2".
